Infant & Toddler Care in West Covina, California

Allow your child to absorb his or her environment holistically in the infant and toddler care program at Montessori Academy of West Covina in West Covina, California. With the goal of developing children's language and motor skills, we start them in a prepared environment and gradually introduce them to stimuli and appropriate objects for sensorial experiences and manipulation.

During the first three years, the child creates the foundation for the person he or she is going to become. In this short period of movements and patterns, children acquire language and abstract thoughts begin to occur. Infants and toddlers develop large body movements and gross motor development for balance in a supervised outdoor setting, where they enjoy the outdoors and develop independence.
